Job summary

Rubicon Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for a 7-month contract across Scotland. You will lead and coordinate small teams on behalf of the Site Manager, ensuring safety and adherence to programme, quality and cost targets.

Role requires apprentice training with NVQ Level 3 and relevant site experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, with RAMS awareness and ability to lead on site activities and install mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and relevant site experience.
• Experience on Electricity Supply Industry construction sites or similar (Power Generation, Oil & Gas).
• Ability to lead site teams and work within a team or individually as required.
• Compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations in a Power environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the teams assigned to various work fronts ensuring work is delivered on time, to required quality and within cost.
• Coordinate with Site Manager to ensure adequate engineering information, plant, materials and labour for upcoming work fronts.
• Identify and communicate deviations early, coordinating with other work parties to maintain safe, efficient operations.

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor on a 7 Month Contract based Scotland.

Role Summary

• 1. This supporting role is to assist and drive work areas by taking the lead role coordinating small teams and work activities on behalf of the Site Manager.
• 2. Reports to Site Manager or as required by deployment.
• 3. Duty of care for themselves and all individuals on site to ensure that they work safely at all times.

Responsibilities

• 1. Works to all applicable procedures as briefed in the site induction.
• 2. Lead the teams assigned to the various work fronts ensuring work is executed on Time to the required Quality & within Cost. Forward planning to ensure upcoming work front have suitable, engineering information, Plant, Materials, Labour and any other elements to successfully deliver Tasks.
• 3. Operate within timescales set out by the site management and highlight potential deviations in advance including coordinating with other work parties to ensure efficient and safe working by all. Including capturing delay and disruption form original scope of work.

Requirements

Apprentice trained, C&G Minimum NVQ Level 3 (Ap-propriate Course) plus 1 years� experience. Or an in-dustry recognised training with a minimum of 2 years� experience as part of a team on an Electricity Supply Industry construction site or similar (Power Genera-tion, Oil & Gas or General Construction Sites). Experienced in participating in site activities compris-ing of mechanical or electrical installation. Comply with, and monitor Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental legislation / practices within a Power environment. Requires the presence and personal qualities necessary to effectively lead site teams and work within a team or individually as required.
