Galliford Try Group is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for the Affinity Water framework in the Rickmansworth area. You will oversee mechanical installation, coordinate MEICA activities across sites, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

You will act as MAP where appointed, supervise subcontractors, review RAMS, and support design and commissioning teams to achieve on-time handover and asset integration with existing systems.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in the water industry
• Track record of site management and delivering mechanical installation through to takeover
• Experience managing client interfaces and resolving progress issues
• Understanding of water industry processes and mechanical/electrical equipment
• Strong health, safety and environmental awareness
• Good MS Office skills for reports and presentations

Responsabilidades

• Keep site safe for all including supply chain and deliver mechanical installation to a high standard
• Work with PMs, MEICA Lead and commissioning team to align installation with programme
• Act as Mechanical Authorised Person (MAP) as applicable and review RAMS
• Supervise mechanical subcontractors and ensure QA, SQE standards
• Support design team on mechanical systems and ensure assets meet client specs
• Coordinate MEICA activities with planners and attend commissioning meetings
• Witness FATs, supervise testing, and manage handover documentation
• Assist commissioning team through stages and support operation until takeover
