Job summary

Heated Mechanical Services is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead a prestigious Canary Wharf commercial fit-out for a well-established M&E contractor. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the mechanical installation, coordinating labour and subcontractors while maintaining safety, programme, and quality.

The ideal candidate will have proven site management experience in fast-paced CAT A/B fit-outs, strong MEP coordination skills, and robust client-facing

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Mechanical Site Manager in M&E.
• Experience delivering commercial fit-out projects in Central London.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services installations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams on fast-paced projects.
• SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS qualifications.
• First Aid qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day mechanical installation management on site.
• Coordinate labour and subcontractors to meet programme deadlines.
• Ensure work is delivered safely, to programme, and to required quality.
• Liaise with client and project team to maintain milestones.

We are recruiting for an experiencedMechanical Site Managerto join a well-established M&E contractor delivering a prestigious commercial fit-out project inCanary Wharf.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased Site Manager with strong experience delivering fast-pacedCAT A / CAT B fit-out projectswithin the London commercial market.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the mechanical installation, coordinating labour and subcontractors while ensuring the project is delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Proven experience as aMechanical Site Manager / Mechanical Managerwithin the M&E industry.

• Strong experience deliveringcommercial fit-out projects, ideally within Central London.

• Good technical understanding of mechanical building services installations.

• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams on fast-paced projects.

• Strong knowledge ofMEP coordination, drawings and construction programmes.

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

• A proactive approach to programme, quality and problem solving.

• SMSTS or SSSTS.

• CSCS.

• Relevant mechanical trade or engineering background.

• First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
