Mechanical Service Engineer - Pumps/Hydraulics

£36,000 Per Annum

Location: Newcastle Under Lyme

Mechanical focused Service Engineer needed to join a growing business with a great reputation.

You will support in the installation and maintenance of large pumping equipment. The ideal candidate for this role will have some experience working within a service role and have a can-do, team-spirited attitude.

Day-to-day Duties:

• Working on site usually within the Midlands
• Installing and maintaining plant machinery, which will include pumps, valves, hoses, and more.
• Attending breakdowns and repairing as required
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard
• Fault finding and diagnosis
• Looking after tools and equipment, including your van
• Ensuring lifting equipment is tested and in date
• Responsible for the safety documentation
• Completing comprehensive reports

Key Skills for the Service Engineer Position Include:

• Time served engineer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion
