About the Opportunity

We are looking to recruit and develop career-minded people to bolster our well-established and growing multi-discipline engineering delivery capability to meet opportunities in the defence industry. Our projects include developing solutions in complex and exciting environments, supporting the UK nuclear submarine fleet, the air, land and sea defence establishments, and both existing and new manufacturing facilities.

As demand for our services continues to grow, you will provide mechanical support to key client projects. You will work within a smaller, growing Mechanical Engineering team based in Glasgow, Bristol, and Reading, as part of a larger UK-wide team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technician seeking exposure to various engineering areas and phases. Our projects across the country offer many opportunities for career development and tailoring your path.

Applicants with experience in defence or similar industries are preferred, but those with relevant mechanical HVAC/Services design experience looking for a challenging environment are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Fluent in Revit, AUTOCAD, and ideally Navisworks.
• Ability to produce 3D CAD models in a BIM environment.
• Produce 2D drawings (layouts, sections, elevations) from 3D models.
• Experience across Mechanical disciplines including Building Services.
• Familiarity with BIM, CDE, and QA systems.
• Ability to work in a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification, such as HND or equivalent.
• Revit experience at all levels; support for further development provided.
• Must be a sole UK national, willing to obtain SC security clearance, and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to sites.
