Job summary

Aberdeen City Council is seeking a Property Inspector (Mechanical) to assess the condition, safety and compliance of mechanical systems within properties under Corporate Landlord. You will inspect HVAC, plumbing, boilers, fire suppression equipment, ventilation, pumps and other mechanical installations to ensure regulatory standards are met and operations remain efficient.

A minimum SVQ Level 3/HNC or Apprenticeship is required along with a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Technical and specialist knowledge gained through qualification at SVQ Level 3/HNC level/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• A valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assess mechanical systems within properties to ensure safety and compliance.
• Inspect HVAC, plumbing, boilers, ventilation and other installations.
• Collaborate with building users, contractors and maintenance teams to support safe operations.
