Job summary

UKME is seeking a Property Mechanical Supervisor to lead the installation and maintenance of plumbing, heating and mechanical systems across its properties. You will supervise tasks, coordinate with subcontractors and align work with the yearly plan.

The role requires gas safety knowledge, COdnCO1 etc qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and proactive PP M. You will report to the Maintenance & Installations Manager and ensure high service standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in building maintenance and mechanical installations (AHUs/FCUs).
• City and Guilds Domestic Plumbing and Heating Levels 1-3.
• Gas appliances, gas safety regs, and commercial gas qualifications (CoDNCO1, TPCP, ICPN1, CDGA1, CCCN1).
• Proficiency with unvented systems, water regulations, and building codes.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation and maintenance of mechanical systems to high standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and align with yearly maintenance plan.
• Manage mechanical works across multiple properties.
• Maintain compliance with gas safety regulations and certifications.
• Be primary query contact for equipment, materials, methods, and procedures.
• Handle inventory, ordering parts, and overseeing contractors.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call cover.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Report progress to Maintenance & Installations Manager.
