Job summary

DT Source Limited seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee mechanical packages for a large-scale data centre project in Angel. The role will drive installation, commissioning and handover, with emphasis on HVAC and cooling systems.

You will coordinate with electrical, CSA and commissioning teams, manage programmes and budgets, and ensure health and safety compliance on site. A strong data centre background and SMSTS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical packages in data centres or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems and building services.
• Experience commissioning, handover and coordination with electrical/CSA teams.

Mechanical Project Manager - Data Centre

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical packages on a large-scale data centre project in Angel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical installations, including HVAC, chilled water, cooling systems and associated pipework.
• Oversee mechanical subcontractors, site supervisors and installation teams.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with electrical, CSA and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor installation progress, quality, health and safety, and compliance with project specifications.
• Manage technical submittals, RFIs, design coordination and subcontractor performance.
• Oversee mechanical testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover to the client.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services, particularly HVAC and cooling systems.
• Experience managing mechanical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover.
• Strong subcontractor management, programming and commercial awareness.
• SMSTS and relevant mechanical qualifications preferred
