Qualifications

  • Previous Mechanical Project Management experience on large-scale commercial projects.
  • SMSTS certification required.
  • Familiarity with design tools is desirable.

Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £55-£60k plus car allowance and benefits

Our client is a well-established Mechanical & Electrical company specialising in mechanical installations, electrical systems, and comprehensive M&E project management.

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical schemes across various commercial projects, including Universities, Schools, and Medical Centres, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial mechanical installation projects with values between £1 and £3 million.

  • Liaise with clients and attend progress meetings, provide variation pricing, and advise on potential issues.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Agree on project plans, manage project milestones & budgets, oversee purchasing, and collate all relevant documentation.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Previous Mechanical Project Management experience on large-scale commercial projects.

  • SMSTS certification.

  • Mechanical qualifications.

  • Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD & Trimble is desirable but not essential.

Package:

£55-60k plus car allowance.
