Job summary

Team BMS is searching for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects across Essex and the Home Counties. You will own delivery from handover to completion, manage programmes, budgets and resources, and coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers on site.

You should have strong building services experience, a proven track record delivering projects end to end, excellent organisation and communication skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple

• Solid understanding of budget and cost control.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from handover to successful completion.
• Take responsibility for delivery, programme, budget and resources.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
• Manage project programmes and ensure milestones are met.
• Monitor costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractors and project resources.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to standards.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular updates.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and opportunities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from initial handover through to successful completion.
• Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, budget and quantity.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams.
• Manage project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractors and project resources.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
• Attend site meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business.
