Job summary

Tech-People is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager / Construction Manager for a major new-build student accommodation project in Selly Oak, Birmingham. The role is on an ongoing contract with a daily rate of £350–£375 and requires strong mechanical bias and site leadership.

You will manage day-to-day mechanical works, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress and QA, and ensure documentation and handover are completed to spec.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical bias with construction/project management experience.
• Experience managing mechanical works on large construction projects.
• Good understanding of QA/QC and site documentation.

We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager / Construction Manager for a major new-build student accommodation project in Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Rate: £350-£375 per day
Duration: Ongoing contract
Project: 800-bed student accommodation
Project value: £10 million

Requirements

• Previous experience managing mechanical works on large construction projects

• Must be confident managing the site and handling the paperwork/documentation side of the role

This is an ongoing opportunity on a £10m new-build project, so we are looking for someone reliable and experienced who can take ownership of the mechanical package.
