Job summary

Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join an established Building Services provider based in Essex. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage installations including public health, ventilation, LTHW/CHW and air conditioning systems across retail and commercial projects.

You will deliver works on time and within budget, overseeing contractors, coordinating with procurement, and guiding project stakeholders to ensure high standards of delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project manager role.
• Trade background as pipe fitter/plumber with PM progression desirable.
• Highly organised and proactive with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the workforce of employed, self-employed and sub-contractors.
• Work with commercial and procurement teams to ensure proper procurement of materials and sub-contract packages.
• Communicate with various project stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources.
• Problem solving to keep works on track.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of the works.

Noble Recruiting are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join an established and renowned Building Services provider based in Essex.

This wonderful and dynamic position is offering the opportunity as a Hybrid Role.

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum DOE

As our Client continues to expand within the Commercial and Retail sectors, they are looking for you to be responsible for managing the successful delivery of installations that include public health systems, ventilation systems, LTHW / CHW system and air conditioning systems typically across retail and commercial projects.

You will be responsible for delivering the works on time, within budget, to the highest standard and meet the following criteria:

• Oversee the workforce of employed, self-employed and sub-contractors.
• Working with the commercial and procurement team to ensure material and sub-contract packages are correctly procured.
• Communicating with various project stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources
• Problem solving.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of the works.

Experience/Skills we are looking for:

• Previous, recent experience in a project manager role.
• Trade experience as a pipe fitter / plumber with ideally having developed into a PM role after working from the ground upwards.
• Highly organised and pro‑active.
• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Motivated to grow within the role & contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and procedures.
