Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical projects in its Energy Department. You will provide day-to-day leadership of site delivery, programme and field teams, ensuring work aligns with client requirements, MJ Quinn standards and health, safety and quality expectations.

The role requires strong mechanical building services expertise, experience with NEC contracts, and a proactive approach to risk and stakeholder management in live environments.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical building services background and ability to coordinate complex mechanical installations.
• Experience delivering mechanical projects in live or regulated environments; healthcare exp. is advantageous.
• Strong planning, organisation and programme management capabilities.
• Commercial awareness with cost reporting, risk identification and budget performance.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery and on-site management of mechanical projects to plan and quality standards.
• Monitor costs, value, change and forecast position in collaboration with the commercial team.
• Promote Safety First and Right First Time across all site activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate supervision, field teams, suppliers and subcontractors to meet milestones and programme goals.
