Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of designated mechanical projects within the Energy Department. You will manage site teams, coordinate with suppliers and clients, and ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

The role requires strong planning, NEC contract experience, and a proactive approach to risk and change management, with a clear emphasis on delivering projects safely and to programme.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical building services background with ability to coordinate and manage installation on complex projects.
• Experience delivering mechanical projects in live/regulatory environments; healthcare experience is advantageous.
• Strong planning, organisation, programme management and monitoring capability.
• Commercial awareness with cost reporting, risk identification and budget performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of designated mechanical projects, ensuring safe and right-first-time delivery.
• Coordinate site activity with supervisors, engineers, suppliers and other trades to maintain progress.
• Ensure project documentation, permits, quality checks and handover information are complete and accurate.
• Lead and coordinate supervisors, field engineers, suppliers and subcontracted resources to align with programme requirements.
• Promote Safety First culture and investigate incidents, ensuring corrective actions are closed.
