Job summary

Uniper is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support delivery of projects, outages and maintenance across its UK assets and Swedish sites. You will lead a range of mechanical engineering activities, coordinating with the asset teams to optimise performance and safety.

The role involves fault finding, investigations and proactive work on process plant systems, with emphasis on safety, quality and cost controls. A higher national diploma or degree in mechanical engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Education in mechanical engineering with project management exposure.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and outages, coordinating across UK/Sweden sites.
• Lead teams and contractors as project complexity requires.
• Define scopes of work and develop technical and contract specs.
• Ensure contractor QA/QC and HSSE compliance.
