Job summary

Uniper Energy seeks a Mechanical Project Engineer to support mechanical engineering, maintenance and outage activities across UK assets. The role involves leading projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering safe, compliant solutions for power generation and storage facilities.

You will leverage your mechanical engineering expertise, project management skills and knowledge of HSSE standards to drive continuous improvement while working at a high-profile level within the Asset Support

Qualifications

• Educated to Higher National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant engineering, project management and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards to IOSH/NEBOSH level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and outages across UK/Sweden assets with a flexible, autonomous approach.
• Lead fault finding, investigations and root-cause analysis on complex process plant systems.
• Define scopes of work and develop technical and contract specifications.
• Promote HSSE and Quality culture, ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.
