Job summary

CV Technical Limited is seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager (Mechanical) to lead mechanical projects from initial design through installation and commissioning. Based in Leicester, you will manage projects up to £600k and oversee budgets and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in project engineering or management.
• HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2D AutoCAD experience required; 3D beneficial.
• Strong budgeting and customer-facing skills.
• Good organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D AutoCAD drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Carry out site surveys and liaise with customers.
• Order parts and coordinate suppliers on costs, lead times and quality.
• Monitor project budgets and costs to maximise profitability.
• Organise and oversee installation teams.
• Manage deliveries, site logistics and project schedules.
• Arrange commissioning and ensure handovers.
• Manage projects from start to finish, delivering on time and within budget.
