Who We’re Looking For

  • Practical understanding of services related to Mechanical bias
  • HNC/HND qualifications in Mechanical discipline (advantageous)
  • Experience managing construction operations, including planning, testing, and handover
  • Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness and technical knowledge
  • Strong leadership, management, and collaborative skills
  • Decisive with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitor project delivery, identify risks and opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Assess constructability of designs and ensure practical solutions within timelines
  • Lead construction delivery in compliance with safety protocols
  • Review and approve contractor documentation
  • Support and develop teams; participate in project steering and initiatives
  • Conduct site surveys and liaise with designers for planning
  • Approve technical drawings for accuracy and quality
  • Maintain focus on safety and Zero Harm
  • Manage handover documentation
  • Drive operational targets aligned with the construction plan
  • Coordinate with off-site teams and manage subcontractors
  • Prepare RAMS and Quality Plans for client review
  • Complete EDF-specific training for supervisor and specialist roles
