Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Liverpool is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead projects from concept to completion, including on-site management and client liaison. You will coordinate trades, manage resources, and ensure safety and quality across FMCG/pharma environments.

Responsibilities

• Attending to clients' needs on and off site from start to finish.
• Quoting clients' job requirements and obtaining approval via Regional Director.
• Proactively developing client relationships to ensure project continuity.
• On-site management including coordination and supervision of tradesmen.
• Managing resources within project budgets, controlling costs and ensuring quality.
• Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are adhered to.

Position: Mechanical Project Engineer
Location: Liverpool
Salary: 65,000 – 70,000 DOE

My client is a leading provider of Design, Fabrication and Installation / Relocation services, predominantly focused on Pharmaceutical and FMCG environments with long standing relationships in both sectors. The ideal candidate will come from a Fabrication / Pipework background with demonstrable Site Management and Project management experience and previous tenure in FMCG / Pharmaceutical / Hygienic environments. You will need to be based within a commutable distance of Liverpool for this role.

Mechanical Project Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Salary 65,000 – 70,000 dependent upon experience
• Working hours, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (40 hour working week)
• 31 days holiday including bank holiday
