Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Plant Equipment) in Northampton. The role offers £40,000–£45,000 with full training on electrical skillset, progression opportunities and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in yard and on customer sites.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with ISO and Health & Safety standards.
• Prepare equipment to the highest standard before it leaves the depot.
• Provide technical support to engineers, office staff and customers as required.
• Manage stock levels and identify parts requirements.

The Role:
