Severn Trent Water is seeking a Mechanical Maintainer to join the Birmingham region. You’ll work in a regional, field-based role based at the Frankley Water Treatment Works with a company vehicle, phone, PPE, and tools provided.
Hours Mon–Thu 7:30–3:30, Fri 7:30–3:00, standby may be required. Ideal candidates will hold a mechanical qualification and Full UK driving licence, with experience in industrial environments, particularly with uPVC pipework and dosing pumps.

This role has a clear, structured development path from Foundation to Skilled and Expert. Salary starts at £41,762.08, rising to £45,165.69 with qualifications and experience, supported through formal training and assessment.
And it doesn’t stop there! Paid training and development form a core part of this role, with a requirement to work toward gaining a recognised second skill.
While electrical qualifications or experience are advantageous, they are not essential, as full upskilling, formal training, and structured competency development will be provided.
Successful applicants will be supported through technical training, on – the – job development, and assessment to achieve the required competency and progress within the role.
