Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days (Monday to Friday)

Great opportunity for a mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer to join one of Northern Ireland's top companies serving the agricultural sector. Working Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, you'll carry out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Future shift options with higher earnings may be available, but this position is days only. Overtime is available at 1.5x rates, increasing earnings well above £40k.

The Role:

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
• Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Fit mechanical parts and perform fabrication
• Work effectively with engineering drawings
• Complete maintenance records accurately
• Adhere to H&S and company policies at all times

What we are looking for:

• Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Maintenance Engineer
• Experience in a manufacturing setting working with automated equipment
• Excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
• Preferably experience fabricating and working with lathes & milling machines
