Job summary

Owen Daniels in Aldershot, Hampshire is seeking a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment. The role involves working on a variety of machinery, supporting bespoke welding machine builds and site improvement projects.

You will enjoy fault-finding, problem solving, and improving machinery performance while delivering planned maintenance and reactive repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of 3-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to fault-find on a variety of machinery.
• Knowledge of UK electrical safety standards (18th Edition preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Fault finding and maintaining a range of manufacturing machinery including grinders, mills, lathes, furnaces and production lines.
• Working with 3-phase systems, power distribution and motor control circuits.
• Supporting the electrical build of bespoke welding machines.
• Maintaining site electrical compliance including fixed wire testing, PAT testing and fire systems.
• Working closely with the maintenance and production teams.
