Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for a Widnes-based position within a chemical manufacturing environment. You will oversee mechanical maintenance on pumps, gearboxes and rotating equipment, with a days-based shift and clear leadership responsibilities.

You will lead and support maintenance engineers, carry out reactive and preventative tasks, and drive safety, reliability and continuous improvement within a busy production site.

Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Supervisor with experience working on industrial pumps, gearboxes and process equipment, looking for a days-based role with greater responsibility?

This company operates within the chemical manufacturing industry and is looking to strengthen its engineering department with an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.

In this role, you will oversee and support mechanical maintenance activities, carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, gearboxes, agitators and other process equipment.

This role would suit a hands‑on Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Supervisor from a manufacturing or processing background who is confident working independently and supporting other engineers.
