Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a static site in Oxford. The role involves daily PPM, reactive maintenance, and supervising subcontractors to ensure safe, quality work.

You will participate in a call-out rota and contribute to documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds/NVQ mechanically qualified or equivalent, has building services knowledge, and can work well in a team.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ mechanically qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial environment and good building services knowledge.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• DBS check should be passable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the paperwork/reports.
• Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
• Be on a call out rota to provide full out of hours cover.
• Oversee visiting sub-contractors for quality and Health & Safety.
• Follow company policies and procedures in all duties.
• Accurately complete work-related documentation on time.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Daily PPM and Reactive tasks including UPS, plumbing, drains, boiler room, cooling towers, FCUs/AHU, and heating pumps.
