Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a globally operating manufacturing site in North Nottinghamshire. You will provide hands-on maintenance across a fast-paced production environment, carrying out planned and reactive tasks to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.

The role requires apprenticeship training with a Level 3 engineering qualification, strong mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, and familiarity with automated

• Apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills in manufacturing.
• Experience with production machinery and automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support across production lines.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate engineering and maintenance records.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with procedures.
• Support continuous improvement, reliability and cost-saving initiatives.
• Work closely with production to ensure equipment performance and availability.
