Job summary

Pioneer Selection is working with a Manchester-based process manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. The role covers maintaining a mix of modern and legacy plant equipment, with planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement.

This hands-on post requires a mechanically biased background, Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) and experience with pumps, valves, gearboxes, agitators, actuators and vessels.

Qualifications

Mechanically biased maintenance background with hands-on experience.
Maintenance of pumps, valves, gearboxes, agitators, actuators and vessels.
Strong focus on safety, standards and development.

Responsibilities

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.
Reactive breakdown maintenance and fault finding.
Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting across equipment.
Work with pumps, valves, gearboxes, agitators and vessels.
Support continuous improvement and pipe fitting as needed.
Adhere to health & safety policies.
