Job summary

Zachary Daniels is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Biased) for a busy FMCG site in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. This permanent role offers a challenging mix of reactive repairs, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement work across a wide range of plant equipment.

The ideal candidate will have an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong fault-finding skills, and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and routine maintenance on site machinery.
• Complete planned maintenance work orders to improve reliability.
• Contribute to preventative maintenance strategies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and stock levels.
• Collaborate with the site team to meet KPIs.
