Job summary

Escape in Dundee is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing team on a dayshift/backshift basis. You will fault find and diagnose issues in emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance, and work to modify and improve plant machinery.

The ideal candidate is apprentice trained with an HNC or equivalent mechanical qualification and has experience in manufacturing. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained with a mechanical qualification or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Manufacturing industry experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdowns or planned work.
• Operate with a planned maintenance system and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Modify and improve machinery and the plant.

Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Dundee and are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team. The company has had investment in recent times and are looking to expand their team!! This is a dayshift/Backshift based role.

• Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
• Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant

The Candidate:
