Job summary

Escape is seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Fitter to join a mobile engineering team operating across sites in Dundee/Fife. This is a varied and hands-on role within a well-established organisation that values quality work, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Dayshift/Backshift position. You'll play a key role in ensuring plant performance, reliability, and availability through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Welding and fabrication skills are desirable.
• Comfortable using IT systems and reporting tools.
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices.

About You

• Experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Welding and fabrication skills desirable
• Comfortable using IT systems and reporting tools
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices
