Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider on a prestigious commercial office in Moorgate, London. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services as part of a multi-skilled team.

The role requires mechanical qualification (C&G / NVQ or equivalent) and experience with HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and pumps.

Qualifications

Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
Experience in commercial building maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC systems.
Experience with AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and plumbing systems.
Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
Experience in a critical environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services equipment.
Maintenance of HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated equipment.
Servicing and maintenance of heating, chilled water and domestic water systems.
Fault finding and repairs on mechanical plant.
Basic plumbing repairs including valves, pipework, taps and sanitary ware.
Carry out basic electrical maintenance including emergency lighting checks, lamp replacements and simple fault finding.
Monitor BMS systems and respond to plant alarms where appropriate.
Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors.
Ensure all works are completed in line with KPI and SLA requirements.
Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
Identify and report faults with building services equipment and take appropriate action.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and site management team.
