A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is needed to join their highly skilled team as soon as possible.

Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and fault-find on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.
• Contribute to machine efficiency and development programs using existing maintenance procedures and continuous improvement methodologies, including 5-whys analysis.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and implement action plans to prevent recurring faults.
• Perform risk assessments and equipment isolation procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a maintenance technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with a recognized apprenticeship and ideally an HNC qualification.
• Mechanical bias with experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Experience in fault finding and repairs in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, and large mechanical equipment. Skills in welding, fabrication, and workshop equipment use, including lathe, milling machine, and pillar drill.
