A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is required to join their highly skilled team as soon as possible.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Maintain, repair, and fault find on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.
2. Contribute to machine efficiency and development programmes using existing maintenance programmes and CI methodologies, including 5 Why analysis.
3. Complete preventative maintenance inspections and implement action plans to prevent reoccurring faults.
4. Perform risk assessments and equipment isolation procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a maintenance technician in a busy, high-volume manufacturing environment. Recognized apprenticeship in a suitable discipline and ideally educated to HNC level.
2. Mechanical bias with experience in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
3. Experience in fault finding and repairs in Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, servicing and repair of gearboxes and large mechanical equipment, and workshop skills including welding, fabrication, and use of workshop equipment such as a lathe, milling machine, and pillar drill.
