Coleg Gwent in Wales is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to maintain campus infrastructure and ensure building services across the college estate operate safely and efficiently.
You will contribute to the comfort, safety and wellbeing of learners and staff, support sustainability goals, and may be required to undertake Welsh language training. Closing date 30/08/2026; interview 07/09/2026.
Salary: £41,452 - £44,692

As our Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be the backbone of our campus infrastructure. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of mechanical building services across the entire college estate.
From keeping the classrooms warm in the winter to ensuring the taps run clean, your work directly contributes to the wellbeing of our learners and staff, as well as the college's commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
