Job summary

Advanced Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a busy Tipton manufacturing site. The role involves hands-on maintenance on high-speed filling lines, packaging equipment, conveyors and related machinery.

You will work on both planned and reactive maintenance and participate in projects to improve site efficiency. Starting ASAP on a 3-month contract with shift patterns across mornings and evenings; on-site in Tipton, UK.

Job description

Role: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Tipton

Shifts: (wk1)-Monday-Friday 5am-2pm (wk2) Monday-Friday 1pm-10pm (wk3) Sunday-Thursday 9pm-6am

Rate: £48 per hour

PAY: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

Length of contract: 3 months

Some Details: We are currently recruiting for a contract Mechanical Maintenance Engineer working on a busy manufacturing site in Tipton. You will have experience working on your own and part of a team, dealing with Maintenance activities that come with a busy food manufacturing/packaging site. You will have experience on the following machinery: High speed filling machines, packaging lines, liquid processing, filling machines, baggers, conveyors, labelling machines, sleevers, conveyors, chains, belts, cappers and mixing vessels.
