Ganymede Solutions Limited in Nuneaton is seeking 5 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers for ongoing ad hoc shifts on a FMCG site. Shifts are 12 hours, 7am–7pm, on site, with a rate of £39.22 per hour inside IR35.

You will split time 50/50 between electrical and mechanical work, carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on conveyors, robotics, and packaging equipment. Training, induction and safety training are provided, after which you join the site engineering cover pool for ad hoc shifts.

Formación

• Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience.
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Manufacturing, FMCG, food, process or logistics experience.
• Strong understanding of safe electrical working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults.
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding.
• Investigating recurring failures and identifying root causes.
• Monitoring equipment condition, including vibration, oil levels, worn components and sensor issues.
• Working to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability and OEE.
• Identifying potential failures and carrying out proactive maintenance before breakdowns occur.

5x Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers - Ad Hoc Shifts

Location: Nuneaton
Rate: £39.22ph Inside IR35
Shift: 7am-7pm, 12-hour shifts
Contract: Ongoing Ad Hoc Shift Cover

We are looking for 5 Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join an established FMCG site in Nuneaton.

This is an ongoing ad hoc opportunity for experienced engineers looking for additional 12-hour shifts. You will receive the required site training, induction and health & safety training, allowing you to become a fully trained and approved resident engineer for the site.

Once trained, you will be part of the site's engineering cover pool and contacted when ad hoc shifts become available.

The role is approximately 50% electrical / 50% mechanical, covering a range of automated production and packaging equipment including conveyors, Kuka robots, palletisers, packaging machinery, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, sensors, inverters and three-phase systems.

Your responsibilities will include:
