Proactive Global is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Southfleet (Dartford area) to join a well-established manufacturing business. The role offers a 48,500 basic salary and a permanent 4 on 4 off night shift pattern with clear development opportunities.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment, minimise downtime, and contribute to continuous improvements while upholding health and safety standards.

Competenze

• Mechanical maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Motivated to develop electrical skills and become multi-skilled.

Mansioni

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Working on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings and production machinery.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities.

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Dartford SouthFleet. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking to develop their skills and progress within a growing engineering team.

The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production and packaging equipment, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.
