Job DescriptionMechanical Maintenance Engineer - Client Direct - Days - Heritage Site - Kew - Up to £45,750Exciting opportunity to work In House / Client Direct Company in Richmond . My client is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in an iconic & beautiful heritage site in the Borough of Richmond. The successful candidates will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site, he or she will have experience carrying out mechanical, plumbing, HVAC & fabric duties. In return the company are offering a competitive salary up to £45,750, further training and career progression.

Duties

• Manage and carry out planned and reactive maintenance to mechanical & electrical plant and equipment




• Heating systems and controls




• Ventilation systems and controls




• Air-conditioning systems and controls




• Comfort cooling systems




• Refrigeration systems




• Environmental computer-controlled systems (BMS)




• Water softening plant




• LTHW plant




• RO plant




• Air heaters




• Pumping systems

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday - Week 1 08:00 - 16:00, Week 2 09:00 - 17:00. Week 3 10:00 - 18:00




• 1 in 3 weekend cover (2 days off in the week that week)




• 36 hour week

• Up to £45,751

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified Level 2 / 3 / HNC / HND




• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)




• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance




• Excellent customer skills

Highly desirable (Not essential)

• Any further qualifications (i.e. Electrical or Air Conditioning etc)




• Experience working in a bank / data centre / commercial Office




• High Voltage - Experience / Qualification - Current or expired




• Previous experience a day and night shift pattern
