Job summary

TechNichols Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) for a large industrial site. The role involves supporting automated production lines, handling reactive maintenance, and carrying out planned maintenance and refurbishments.

You will join a friendly team and have opportunities to gain qualifications and develop your career within the company. The site operates on a 4 on 4 off rotation with day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Complete recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Background in maintenance within industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Experience with conveyors, packaging, motors, PLCs, pneumatics or hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production machinery.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Contribute to new installations and refurbishments within the site.

Role: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £44,000 to £45,000 per annum

Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotation of days & nights

Location: Commutable from Anstey, Glenfield, Leicester, Groby and surrounding areas

Due to growth we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical or Electrical will be considered to work within a large industrial company at one of their automated factories. A flagship site for this company who have just recently had £6million invested into new machinery.

You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team of 11 Engineers working in this fast paced environment. You will also benefit from opportunities to gain further qualifications, developing more skills and building a career within this large company.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Engineers (Maintenance Technicians) support the production machinery including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks, planned preventative maintenance, new installations and refurbishments. This would suit Maintenance Engineers who like to variation, to work across a range of machinery and equipment, who aren't afraid to apply themselves and learn.

Requirements

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualifications or have over 5 years of qualified by experience
• Background and experience in maintenance or service work in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Have ANY of the following experience; conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, belts, bearings etc. - any of these will be considered
• Friendly and adaptable working attitude
• Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
