Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a large, automated manufacturing site in the United Kingdom. You will maintain and repair conveyors, mixers, ovens and kilns, supporting a demanding industrial environment and contributing to reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance background, ideally from heavy industry, aerospace, or FMCG.
• Experience with hydraulics and basic welding.
• Proactive, get-stuck-in attitude and willingness to work in tough environments.
• Experience working in automated production environments.
• Flexibility to cover additional hours as needed.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, youll join a large, energetic engineering team supporting a heavy, automated manufacturing site. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment such as conveyors, mixers, ovens, and kilns
• Supporting a fast-paced, industrial environment that is physically demanding
• Performing routine and reactive maintenance across site machinery
• Participating in daily handovers and shift-based engineering support
