elix Sourcing Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a days-based role at their Hayes facility near London. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance on a range of commercial and plant machinery to maximise uptime.

The position offers £35,000-£45,000 plus overtime, training and benefits, with Tuesday to Saturday, 07:00-15:30 shifts and options for flexible days off. Commutable from West Drayton, Southall, Uxbridge and Hounslow.

Qualifications

• Welding and mechanical engineering knowledge gained in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Qualifications are desirable.
• Willingness to commute to Hayes and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on plant machinery.
• Work to maximise equipment uptime and efficiency to meet project deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement and safe working practices across the site.

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join the team, working out of their state of the art facility near Hayes. The successful applicant will be responsible for working within the plant on a range of commercial and plant machinery providing planned, reactive and preventive maintenance. You will be playing a key role in ensuring that all equipment is operating at maximum efficiency enabling all projects are completed on time, meeting industry and customer standards. This is an outstanding role for someone looking for day to day variety and wants to grow their skillset within a range of electrical and mechanical equipment and machinery within in a fast paced environment.
