Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Grantham
Salary: 40,000 + Benefits

Working Hours: (12 hours, 4 on 4 off) - Day/Nights

About Us

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who will collaborate with the engineering team to carry out daily maintenance tasks, ensuring all work aligns with Health & Safety regulations and site policies. Your efforts will be key in maintaining machinery and equipment, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with Health & Safety Regulations and follows Safe Systems of Work.
• Conduct planned maintenance on machinery and equipment within a fast-paced environment.
• Proactively identify and resolve recurring issues through root cause analysis, implementing solutions to improve equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to improve operational processes and performance.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience within mechanical maintenance of plant machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) or an apprenticeship.
• Prior experience in planned and reactive maintenance roles is essential
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels within the business.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
