Job summary

Advanced Engineering in Kirton is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy manufacturing site. You will maintain machines, respond to breakdowns, and support the preventive maintenance program in a busy plant.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a track record in manufacturing, with a strong focus on health and safety and the ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: 55,400
Shifts: 4 on 4 off days & nights (4 days / 4 nights)
Location: Kirton
Pension: Employer doubles employee's contribution up to 10%

Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a heavy manufacturing company based in Kirton. You will be part of small team, assisting with all activities that help the site run as efficiently as possible. Engineers will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 (apprentice trained or equivalent) and will have experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Role

• Ensuring machines are kept running smoothly and on track with the planned maintenance schedule
• Carry out repairs to production breakdowns in an efficient and safe manner
• Compliance with all health & safety regulations
• Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep production running efficientlyEnsure all risk assessment / safe system of work / permit to work are adhered to
