Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a major UK manufacturing site near Aldridge. The role offers a competitive base salary of 51,000 plus KPI bonus and premium overtime, plus pension match up to 10% and private healthcare.

The successful candidate will join a premium site with a 4 on 4 off days/nights pattern. Responsibilities include delivering proactive/reactive maintenance, executing PPM schedules, fault-finding hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and gearboxes, and

Qualifications

• Requires City & Guilds Level 3 / BTEC Level 3 with NVQ Level 3 in engineering and an Apprenticeship in Engineering/Mech/Mechatronics with NVQ Level 3
• Strong background in planned and reactive mechanical maintenance within manufacturing
• Electrical cross-skilling and continuous improvement training offered to progress your career

Responsibilities

• Deliver plant-wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure optimum factory performance
• Execute PPM schedules and respond effectively to breakdowns as part of the maintenance team
• Fault-find and repair key mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and gearboxes
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to support world-class manufacturing standards
