Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover the Exeter/Cullompton area. The role involves travelling across the South West to service and repair equipment and machinery, with a focus on maintaining high standards of efficiency.

Previous maintenance experience is required, and a background in the food safety sector is welcome but not essential. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, with overtime opportunities.

Job description

Mechanical Maintenance Engineers required for our client in the Exeter/Cullompton area paying between £20.00 and £23.00ph. Previous experience is required. Potential temporary to permanent position following a successful trial period. Duties include travelling around the South West to maintain equipment and machinery, conduct repairs and ongoing maintenance, knowledge of or experience in the food safety industry is preferred but not essential.

Pay rate:

• £20 to £23 per hour depending on experience

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:00
• Opportunities for Overtime available
