Job summary

Coventry University Group seeks an experienced mechanical maintenance professional to supervise contractors and coordinate maintenance across its campuses. The role includes overseeing planned preventative maintenance, reactive works, and statutory inspections, with a focus on safety and high-quality service.

You will manage contractor performance, review risk assessments, permits to work, and ensure adherence to mechanical safety procedures, while using Planon CAFM to track compliance and KPIs,

Qualifications

• Experienced mechanical professional with strong background in mechanical maintenance and contractor supervision.
• Understanding of mechanical compliance requirements and safe systems of work.
• Experience coordinating contractors, reviewing risk assessments and permit-to-work processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance contractors across campuses.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance, reactive works, statutory inspections and minor projects.
• Manage contractor performance, risk assessments, permits to work, and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities using Planon CAFM and maintain asset records.
• Provide technical guidance on mechanical systems and assist with fault finding and incident response.
