Opportunity for Mechanical Lead / Package Manager to join our Life Science team in London. Reporting to the Regional Director/Regional MEP Lead, the MEP Lead is responsible for delivering MEP systems across large and/or multiple smaller projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet the company's safety, quality, and energy objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the tender and award of MEP packages according to project pre-construction and procurement strategies.
2. Ensuring temporary electrical requirements and load assessments align with management system guidelines.
3. Managing MEP integration and project delivery as part of the overall team.
4. Overseeing MEP elements in accordance with management procedures and project plans.
5. Aligning installation and commissioning programmes with the main construction schedule.
6. Engaging with utility companies from project inception to understand and adhere to infrastructural requirements.
7. Coordinating with contractors for approval and timely delivery of drawings.

Minimum requirements include:

1. Over 8 years of experience managing large-scale, complex MEP projects.
2. Understanding of the MEP supply chain and market dynamics.
3. Comprehensive operational experience across all project phases.
4. Technical, interpersonal, and commercial skills to deliver projects successfully.
5. Relevant certifications such as ACIBSE or equivalent, BIM fundamentals, and H&S training.
6. A degree in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, and membership in a professional institution like CIBSE, CIOB, or IEI.
