Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Mechanical Lead to champion the delivery of mechanical systems on a major project in the UK. You will report to the MEP Lead and collaborate with the Project Director and Engineering Management Team to ensure design, testing, and commissioning meet programme, budget and regulatory requirements.

You will drive quality, safety and efficiency while aligning engineering, construction, commissioning and client expectations across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading mechanical delivery on large Tier 1 or equivalent projects.
• Relevant health and safety training (e.g. CSCS).
• Familiarity with commissioning, validation and system turnover in regulated sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical function and oversee delivery of all systems including HVAC, utilities, process piping and specialist systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Develop and implement strategies for execution planning, resource allocation and performance management.
• Review and approve design documents, submittals and material selections.
• Oversee FATs, MEP construction, SATs, commissioning and system turnover.
