Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking a Mechanical Heating Engineer for RAF Lakenheath, responsible for maintaining and repairing heating systems across multiple sites. The role includes ensuring compliance and delivering both preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in Mechanical or Engineering and experience with commercial heating systems. Benefits include a company van, pension scheme, and opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience with oil and LPG/gas boiler heating systems.
• Ability to read schematics and record work digitally.
• Experience supervising contractors/sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair oil and LPG/gas boiler heating systems.
• Ensure assets are compliant and energy-efficient.
• Supervise contractors and comply with health and safety requirements.
