Job summary

INEOS Grangemouth recruits mechanical engineering graduates for a range of early-career roles embedded within asset operation teams. You will rotate across SHE, production, reliability and energy use, gaining day-one responsibilities and working toward IMechE Chartership.

Based in Grangemouth, these roles offer development, autonomy and a clear pathway to a fulfilling engineering career with ongoing professional support and chartership development.

• Minimum 2:1 Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

INEOS O&P UK Grangemouth is a petrochemicals centre of excellence and we are the largest manufacturing site in Scotland.

The Forties Pipeline System (FPS) plays a key role in safely and reliably transporting hydrocarbons from the central North Sea, onshore for processing.

About Our Opportunity

Based in Grangemouth our graduates work in a variety of different roles designed to give a diverse set of early experiences. Each role supports different aspects of asset operation (including SHE, production, reliability, and energy use/variable cost improvements) to deliver the short through long term asset strategy. You will be embedded within a team of experienced mechanical engineers and given responsibilities from Day 1 designed to facilitate development and growth of technical ability, personal impact and business awareness through to IMechE Chartership. You will immediately develop key skills and experiences required for a successful career in your discipline.

About You

We are seeking the top Mechanical Engineering graduates who have the following skills and qualifications:

• A minimum of 2:1 Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (either completed or in your final Masters year)
• Ambition and personal motivation
• The ability to work under pressure, with confidence
• A drive for action, initiative and delivery, a ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• A valid UK driving licence or currently working towards achieving this
• Placement or Industry experience is advantageous
